Production Supervisor (Trim)


The Production Supervisor (Trim) is responsible for supervising and leading a team of machinists and technicians who trim composite components by hand and numerically controlled multi-axis machines. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with a variety of conventional and advanced trimming machines. This position requires an engaging and inspiring leader who has a keen eye for improvement, has high quality standards, and who is committed to meeting production deadlines.

  • Hire, develop, motivate, and lead several key work centers. This includes promoting a culture that values communication, integrity, professionalism, and creativity.

  • Assign and manage the daily and weekly workload for areas of responsibility.

  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
  • Previous composite machining experience is required
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.
  • Associates degree in machining, metrology, or manufacturing technology is preferred


  • Extensive knowledge of 3/4/5 axis machining practices and techniques including work coordinate systems, probing, tooling, cutters, and fixtures.
  • Experience using programming software such as PowerMill and experience manipulating G-code.
  • Knowledge of advanced measuring techniques and metrology.
  • Working level knowledge of Microsoft Office and MRP software.
